Engagement is the extension of knowledge, offerings, and influence of the University of Missouri System in partnership with communities for the betterment of people. This includes learning opportunities that lead to behavior change, research that leads to improvement in the quality of life of citizens, and partners who serve as champions to advance the mission of communities and UM System Universities.

Western Historical Manuscripts Collection

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ of Missouri created the Western Historical Manuscript Collection in 1943 with the mission to collect, preserve, and make available records that illuminate the history of Missouri and the broader region.

South African Education Program

Since 1986, the University of Missouri South African Education Program has partnered with the and other South African partners to advance mutual understanding and foster cooperative teaching, research and service projects.
