The MOST Scholarship supports students whose families have invested in Missouri's state-sponsored MOST 529 education savings plan. Scholarships are awarded annually and selected based on financial need.

Scholarship Amount

The MOST scholarship fund awards up to 80 scholarships each year. Each scholarship is worth $500, paid on an annual basis for the following academic year.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

To qualify for the MOST Scholarship, you must be:

  • The designated beneficiary of a Missouri MOST 529 plan open for at least five (5) years before the application deadline.
  • Currently enrolled or accepted incoming as a full-time undergraduate student in good standing at an institution within the University of Missouri System.
    • Graduate or professional students who received a MOST scholarship in/before 2011 may also qualify. 
  • Able to demonstrate high financial need per results.

Selection is based on financial need. The university reserves the right to make changes to the program.

Previous recipients may apply again. Students may receive the scholarship for up to four (4) academic years.
